Career Advancement Programme

The first event of the CAP, which is also known as Career Advancement Programme was conducted on 8 October 2009. The venue was BCS London office. According to the report, forty participants were presented for the event. Most of them were young IT professionals, graduate-level students, members of the board as well as speakers.

The speakers included some of the best professionals who had extensive experience for representing the career routes in engineering, IT – research, higher education, corporate development, management as well as in operations.

In the evening, each speaker gave a brief speech on the fundamental nature of their modus operandi, occupation, perks and challenges, key motivation, which will keep one in a career.  The Q&A section, which followed saw different themes raised repeatedly. Some of the themes that were discussed in this event are mentioned below:

AYM Awards – Awards For The Young Musicians

Every year, our organization will make awards of £2000, which is based on the evidence of financial need and musical talent. We basically conduct this award-giving event for various reasons. These events will help us to hire or purchase the musical accessories and other instruments. It will also help us to improve our music lessons, music courses, weekend music schools as well as help in paying the orchestra fees.

The applicants who are interested should have achieved distinction level marks in the last music exams they have attended. In case if they have not done any courses or have not taken any exams, they have to show the evidence, which will show their talent. The recommendation of a music teacher can also work. Award For European Young Journalist

The people who won at the European Young Journalist Award event, which was conducted in 2009, gather to celebrate the success in Berlin. This was also one of the top pan-European competitions. In the final convention, these people discusses about the enlargement of EU as well as the questions related to European identity.

The competition was mainly organized by “European Commission’s Directorate General” for the Enlargement, with the “European Youth Press”. This is also an umbrella union of the Europe’s young journalists. Café Babel, which is a multilingual current affairs magazine of Europe, was also one of the top organized of the event, a multilingual European current affairs magazine.

There were thirty-four national winners, who were aged between seventeen and thirty-five were invited to Berlin trip. After bringing the award winners to German capital, organizers wanted them to underline the main impact of the integration process of the Europeans. The event conducted in 2009 also marked the 20th successful anniversary of the iron curtain and the 5th anniversary to EU of Eastern European Countries, Cyprus and Malta. The proud award winners of this program also got a chance to trip to the historical places in Berlin. They also got a chance to visit the TV channels, radio and newspapers.

At the end of the trip, they also got an opportunity to meet the diplomats, journalists and the political experts during a conference. They also debated on a topic during this conference, which was based of the European Union’s enlargement in the future. They also discuss about the methods and programs, which will help in tackling the financial crisis of European Union.
